Project Overview

A modern and fully functional Event Management platform where users can explore events, view detailed schedules, and purchase tickets securely. The system includes dynamic event pages, real-time ticket updates, and a smooth booking experience. Users can manage all purchased tickets from a personalized dashboard. Built with a scalable full-stack architecture using Next.js, MongoDB, and Clerk authentication and optimized with a responsive, modern UI for seamless performance across all devices.

Challenges & Learning

One of the main challenges was implementing a secure authentication system using NextAuth, especially managing sessions and protected routes. Building a full backend using Next.js API routes without Express helped me understand modern full-stack architecture. Working with MongoDB improved my ability to handle real-world data and database structure. Managing forms and application state, especially for booking and event creation, required careful planning and use of tools like React Hook Form. I also learned how to improve performance using server components and efficient routing in Next.js. Additionally, I focused on improving UI and user experience by applying modern design techniques and smooth animations. Overall, this project helped me solve real-world problems and build a production-ready application.
